A red and white polka dot dress with a ruffled sweetheart collar, built from Charm Patterns' Night and Day Dress. The fabric was likely sourced from Stonemountain & Daughter, or possibly the old Joann's before it closed.

A red, white, and navy printed jumpsuit built from McCall's M8447, "Brandi Joan" — a crewneck top and drawstring trousers with a cropped, cinched waist. The fabric came from the same closing fabric store in North Carolina as the geometric print dress.

A satin bomber jacket with a hand-embroidered gold scorpion on the back, inspired by Ryan Gosling's jacket in the film Drive. The base jacket came from American Apparel, back when its stores were on nearly every corner in NYC. Worn out on Halloween 2011 to Berry Park in Williamsburg, Brooklyn — the night of "Snowtober," the record-breaking nor'easter that dropped New York City's heaviest October snowfall on record.

A hand-sewn dress built from two different fabrics and three kinds of lace, made for a night out at "Are Friend's Electric" — a club night at Square One in San Marco, Jacksonville. Styled with two layers of stockings, lace tied at the wrists, pin-curled hair, and a collection of necklaces. Documented on the original outfit-of-the-day blog post.

A Gertie pattern from her Butterick years, made up in a vintage red toile fabric sourced at the Alameda Vintage Faire. Finished just in time to wear to the faire itself, full circle from fabric to finished dress. Wearable, no buttons, which is a hard requirement these days.
